MEET THE ROGUE BOOKKEEPING DIVISION TEAM
MEGAN
Founder – Rogue Bookkeeping
Diagnostic reviews, budgeting and forecasting
Some might say Megan is the brains behind Rogue Bookkeeping, others (Megan herself) says she’s the weirdo who didn’t love how other firms were being run so she decided to do it herself – sometimes for better, sometimes for worse.
Megan brings over 15 years of administrative and bookkeeping experience. She graduated from the Okanagan College with a certificate in bookkeeping several years ago and has been building on that knowledge ever since! Currently Megan is taking the Graduate Diploma in Business Administration program at Simon Fraser University, because, as a business owner, she definitely has spare time!
SAMANTHA
Legal Bookkeeping, certified in Leap, ActionStep and Clio Clean up Bookkeeping Expert
From a young age Sam had a yen for bookkeeping. Her first childhood memory is of playing with an abacus and well I guess it just spiraled from there!
Sam graduated from the bookkeeping program at ICS Canada in 2018 and worked for a small trucking company until joining the crazy train that is Rogue Bookkeeping in March of 2021. Since joining RBK, Sam has become certified with several legal bookkeeping softwares and is our resident legal bookkeeping expert.
When not firmly ensconced in the debits and credits of her favourite clients you can find Sam running the large hatching egg chicken farm she owns with her husband and three kids here in Chilliwack or out exploring the great outdoors of British Columbia vis a vis camping.
YUKI
Payroll Compliance Practitioner
Yuki has spent the last five years sharpening her accounting and bookkeeping skills at a small firm—crunching numbers, balancing books, and making spreadsheets behave. Now she’s joined the amazing team at Rogue Bookkeeping, where she continues to turn financial chaos into clarity (and occasionally makes spreadsheets that are almost fun to look at).
Yuki has achieved and maintains her Payroll Compliance Professional designation from the National Payroll Institute and is RBK’s in-house payroll specialist.
Originally from overseas, Yuki landed in Canada 10 years ago, studied accounting in college, and has been in a committed relationship with numbers ever since. When she’s not reconciling accounts, you’ll probably find her experimenting in the kitchen or strolling with her cat, Vash, who thinks he’s a dog and insists on being the centre of attention wherever they go.
STACEY
Senior Bookkeeper & Full-Cycle Pro
Stacey has always had a passion for problem solving, which is one of the reasons bookkeeping has been such a natural fit. It allows her to apply her analytical skills while making a meaningful difference for small business owners.
Stacey brings nearly 20 years of bookkeeping experience and education, with a background that spans both public practice accounting and private industry. She received her Accounting Assistant certificate from VIU in 2011 and is only a few courses shy of completing her Bachelor of Business Administration – majoring in accounting.
When she is not clicking away on her keyboard, you can find her enjoying the Van Isle lifestyle with her husband and their son, exploring all the beauty that the island has to offer!
LEX
Catch up Bookkeeper Extraordinaire
Lex is a bookkeeper with a knack for organization with an imaginative streak, balancing analytics with creativity. Lex brings with them over eight years of experience in the bookkeeping realm. They hope to one day continue their studies with the goal of achieving their CPA designation.
Passionate about gaming and all things nerdy, they bring enthusiasm to everything they do. Recently relocating from BC to Alberta, they’re loving their new surroundings and the fresh weather. Sharing their space is Moccasin (Mox for short), their playful and ever-curious cat, who insists on turning the keyboard into a cat bed while they tackle their bookkeeping tasks.
JAZMYN
Full-Cycle Bookkeeping and Tax Prep Whiz
Jazmyn got into accounting completely by accident. She was studying Networking IT, took an accounting elective on a whim, and ended up falling completely in love with it. She has been chasing debits and credits ever since.
Jazmyn earned her diploma in Business Accounting and is currently working toward her Bachelor of Business Administration with a specialization in Accounting. She is QuickBooks Online Certified and has hands-on experience across payroll, accounts payable and accounts receivable (AP/AR), personal and corporate tax prep, not-for-profit accounting, first nations accounting, and tax planning. Meticulous and organized by nature, she turns financial chaos into something her clients can actually make sense of.
When she is not reconciling accounts, Jazmyn is at home with her three cats and a pet snake, deep in a video game, or lost in a good book.
